THE MISSION of Rock ’ N Roll Museum, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity, is to serve as an educational resource preserving the rich history and evolution of American music from blues, country and gospel to rockabilly, rhythm & blues, soul, and rock ‘n roll, including rock, hard rock, psychedelic rock, funk, punk, and heavy metal. 

To achieve its mission, Rock ’N Roll Museum, Inc., manages the Rock & Blues Museum in Clarksdale, MS.  The museum exhibits music memorabilia spanning several decades, from the 1920s through the 1970s. The museum shows not only the influence of American music, from its roots in Blues to its life in American pop culture, but also its impact on popular music and culture around the world.

Rock ’N Roll Museum Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is established in Clarksdale, Mississippi.  All donations and contributions made to Rock ’N Roll Museum, Inc. may be tax deductible (consult with your tax advisor)

The museum opened for the general public on August 16, 1997, in The Netherlands.  In August of 2005, the museum moved to the current location in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and reopened on August 5, 2006.

In March the Rock & Blues Museum will be open on Friday and Saturday, March 22 & 23, for a final closing sale.  All items in the giftshop will be discounted during the sale.
